Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Fans express concern for Joshua Bassett after learning he was baptized at the Bethel Church which promotes conversion therapy.

Joshua Bassett insists he is 'doing better than I ever have' after recent posts about his Christian faith and internal struggles drew concern from fans.  

'For those concerned about me be sure of this: i’m better than i have ever been,' Joshua posted to his Instagram Stories on Sunday night, according to Billboard. 'The peace i feel is far beyond what i thought possible.'

In the post, Bassett also claimed to have had two 'first hand' encounters with Jesus Christ.


DailyMail.com has reached out to a representative for Joshua for comment. 

In other posts shared to his Stories, he described the signs he received from God after praying for specific messages. 

'Tonight at church i prayed to God "so i will know for certain that you are Jesus, and he is the only way, please send someone to touch my back and i will shout it from the rooftops".

According to Billboard, Joshua proclaimed, "For those concerned about me, be sure of this: I'm better than I have ever been. The peace I feel is far beyond what I thought possible."

While reassuring fans that he is doing well, Joshua opened up about his spiritual journey and how finding God changed his life. "A few months ago, I ask God to 'send me a sign when I write the truth," Joshua wrote. "I type 'Jesus is the way,' nothing happened, then I added, 'Jesus is the *only* way,' and the light turned on in my living room. "I have also first hand encountered Jesus twice. The experience's [sic] were richer and more vivid than anything in my life. I look forward to speaking about it soon."

Joshua drew concern from fans after he posted a series of what many people considered to be cryptic tweets on Christmas Eve. "Most people i know, including myself, are struggling right now," he tweeted."Please be good to yourselves and others, reach out to support those you love, and dont be afraid to ask for help."According to Billboard, Joshua proclaimed, "For those concerned about me, be sure of this: I'm better than I have ever been.
