Nkosinathi Mbanjwa, identified as the security guard who was allegedly attacked and assaulted by Shauwn Mamkhize and Andile Mpisane

Nkosinathi Mbanjwa, identified as the security guard who was allegedly attacked and assaulted by Shauwn Mamkhize and Andile Mpisane.

A security guard working at match between AmaZulu FC and Royal AM at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban has come forward to accuse Royal AM boss Shauwn Mkhize and her son, club boss and player Andile Mpisane of beating him up. It is alleged that this happened when the mother and son duo tried to force their way to the VIP suites. A no-nonsense security guard, Nkosinathi Mbanjwa told them he would not allow them entry since they did not possess entry tickets or accreditation to the VIP area used by high-profile personalities and celebs.

The 41-year-old bouncer says MaMkhize and her son attacked him for no apparent reason and he ended up falling on the floor. According to Mbanjwa, Andile and his mom along with other members of Royal AM pushed him, attacked him, and hurled insults at him after he asked for accreditation. “I got attacked for doing my job," he says. "Andile and his mother kept asking me if I knew who they were and threatened to get me arrested. They assaulted me and people were scared to intervene because MaMkhize is known by high-profile people."

The bouncer reportedly said that the match had not ended well, and MaMKhize had allegedly also gotten into it with AmaZulu bosses before she headed to the VIP lounge.

The 41-year-old reportedly said he “got attacked” for doing his job when he refused to let MaMKhize and her son inside the VIP area. Mbanjwa was said to have claimed that at some point, he fell on the ground from being “attacked” by the duo along with other members of the Royal AM Football Club.
