After being signed to play the female lead in Junooniyatt, while talking to us, Neha, who quit Banni Chow midway, had said, “I quit Banni Chow as my character wasn’t growing. It was a conscious decision to take a break from work for a few months and audition only for the lead character. I played small characters previously for exposure and visibility. To be honest, I didn’t expect to be offered a central character in just three months of my journey. I am glad I finally got what I aspired for.”
She further added, “We have been getting positive feedback for the show and we are grateful for it. The cast comprising Ankit Gupta, Neha Rana, and Gautam Singh Vig is hardworking and dedicated to the show. We will continue to work harder and keep the audience engaged. We have a big twist in the offing, which I am sure will be loved by the audience.”
Junooniyatt revolves around the love triangle between Ilahi Dosanjh (Neha Rana), an aspiring singer, Jordan, a megastar rapper, and Jahaan Mehta (Ankit Gupta), the singer’s lover, who is an aspiring singer trying to make it big in the world of music.
