OUTFIT PHOTOS:, Lewis Hamilton wearing 1994 national team tracksuit wore during the FIFA World Cup

Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Lewis Hamilton wearing 1994 national team tracksuit wore during the World Cup.

Hamilton is hoping to win his first grand prix since his victory in Saudi Arabia in 2021 this weekend. Ahead of Friday's practice sessions, the 38-year-old was spotted wearing an old Brazil tracksuit in the paddock. Perhaps this was a nod to Brazil greats like Ronaldo and Romario, who helped fire the Selecao to World Cup glory in 1994, when the tracksuit was used by the national team.

Hamilton's attire is likely to go down well with the locals this weekend, as he tries to leapfrog Red Bull driver Sergio Perez into second in the standings - with world champion Max Verstappen way out in front.

After his podium in Mexico, Lewis Hamilton brought himself closer to Sergio Perez, who has been in the second position in the standings for a very long time. Only twenty points separate the two drivers now, which is not a very difficult target for the seven-time world champion given the three remaining races and the Sprint format.

This is an opportunity for him to get closer back to the top of the table after the two rather disappointing seasons he has had in 2022 and 2023. Meanwhile, Sergio Perez is looking to make the most out of the remaining races to defend against the Brit.

Hamilton showed up to the event wearing the 1994-1996 Brazil national team tracksuit. The Umbro Brazil 1994 tracksuit boasts an impactful look made up of giant stars in Brazil's green, yellow, blue, and white colors.

Fans on X (formerly Twitter) were quite delighted to see the driver dressed in that way. After all, he is known for his exquisite fashion sense, always leaving a mark on the Formula 1 Paddock. Many loved the retro look, and one fan said:

"Wow, Lewis is bringing back some serious retro vibes! Loving the 90's Brazilian football tracksuit look, it's a total winner! ⚽️🇧🇷 Keep rocking it, Lewis!"
