Prior to the 2021-22 NBA season, most thought the era of Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors was over. After making five straight NBA Finals from 2015 to 2019, the Dubs missed playoffs in back-to-back seasons.
However, in the 2022 playoffs, Curry led the Warriors to the organization's fourth NBA Championship in eight years. Steph cried on camera after becoming the champions of the league in 2022. Curry opened up about the moment in a recent interview with 'Big Boy TV.'
Stephen Curry: "We got so far away the mountaintop at a certain point with the injuries, the changing of the scenery, moving from Oakland to San Francisco, our roster changing, like you name it. ... The fact that none of it was guaranteed but that was just a culmination of a three-year journey from game six of the 2019 Finals to game 6 of the ’22 Finals. That three-year journey was an emotional rollercoaster journey."
