The president of the Chamber of Deputies, deputy Arthur Lira (PP-AL), called the Legislative Police to investigate a statement by YouTuber Felipe Neto referring to the politician as " excremental " during a meeting of the Chamber of Deputies.
With his speech, Felipe Neto combined the words "excelentíssimo", the pronoun used for the president of the Chamber, and "excrement".
The broadcast is also available on the Chamber's YouTube channel, divided into three parts of the Symposium, but the part of Felipe Neto's participation is not available. In the video in which the moment of speech was supposed to appear, a caption was inserted in the description with the message: "Version edited due to offensive content".
At the symposium, the influencer debated Bill 2,630/20, which establishes the regulation of digital platforms, and said that it is necessary to change the perception about the project and have popular support. The PL proposes the creation of the Brazilian Law on Freedom, Responsibility and Transparency on the Internet, also known as the Social Networks PL.
