In its letter to the First Couple dated April 23, Jollibee thanked them for choosing the brand for their dinner.
"We are so delighted that you chose Jollibee and enjoyed a jolly delicious dinner. We wish to convey our sincere appreciation on behalf of the whole Jollibee organization. Thank you, Mr. President, and First Lady, for choosing joy," it wrote.
"As a token of our gratitude, please accept this humble gift — our Jollibee doll representing over 45 years of our journey — symbolizing our commitment to provide great-tasting food and to become a proudly-Filipino global brand."
