More details have come to light on beloved TikToker Eva Evan's death has been revealed as sources claim they discovered her body hanging inside her New York City apartment with a suicide note left behind.
The 29-year-old influencer tragically passed away this week as heartwarming tributes poured in from her many fans. While Eva's cause of death was originally unknown, law enforcement sources reported to TMZ that a friend found Eva's body late Saturday night after having just seen her alive Friday morning. The friend said that they had a key to Eva's apartment and when they went to check on her they found her hanging inside with a note left behind.
Law enforcement sources also told TMZ that Evans left a suicide note behind shortly before she allegedly took her own life. There was reportedly no sign of foul play and Evans did not immediately appear to have any unusual injuries on her body aside from those sustained during the hanging.
As RadarOnline.com previously noted, Evans was found dead inside her NYC apartment on Saturday night. Her sister, Lila Joy Evans, announced the TikTok star and Club Rat creator’s heartbreaking passing in an Instagram post on Sunday.
The friend claimed that Eva did leave a written note behind, but the contents of the message have not been revealed. Although Eva's death appears to have been by suicide, her official cause of death has not yet been announced as her toxicology results are still pending.
When Eva's friend was questioned at Eva's apartment, they claimed that they were unaware that Eva was emotionally disturbed or depressed. Eva's sister Lila announced the heartbreaking news of her sibling's death on Instagram this week and wrote: "Yesterday my family received news that our sweet, fabulous, creative, caring, hilarious Eva, my beautiful sister, has died."
