VIDEO: King Misuzulu kaZwelithini paid 15 cows as lobola for his third wife, Nomzamo Masesi Myeni, at her family's royal homestead in Jozini, KZN

Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that King Misuzulu kaZwelithini paid 15 cows as lobola for his third wife, Nomzamo Masesi Myeni.

The lobola ceremony was held in Makhonyeni Village in Jozini, north of KwaZulu. Reports have it that the King was accompanied by the Zulu monarch’s traditional Prime Minister and Zulu royal house members.

Reports have it that King Misuzulu paid 16 beasts and an undisclosed amount of money.

Sunday World is aware that Myeni had been a bank teller when the king courted her. She subsequently left the financial institution and worked with King MisuZulu.

The news of the king taking another wife comes in the midst of his entanglement with his second wife, Queen Nozizwe Mulela kaMakhubu of the Kingdom of Eswatini.

The pair are no longer singing from the same hymn book despite various interventions from the royal house and King MisuZulu’s uncle, King Mswati III, the absolute monarch of the landlocked country bordering South Africa.

On all public platforms, South Africa’s most pampered king is often seen with his foster wife, Queen Nontokozo kaMayisela.
