Runtown and Falz are ready for a peaceful protest this week

Nigerian singers, Runtown and Falz are ready for a peaceful protest on Thursday, October October 8th 2020. The peaceful protest will be against the killings and injustices from SARS in Nigeria. 

Alot of Nigerians are tired of the killings and injustices from the Federal Special Anti Robbery Squad and a peaceful protest is set to be done. 

Runtown took to his Twitter page to announce his intention towards a peaceful protest. According to him, the peaceful protest to end SARS will take place on the 8th of October 2020 at Lekki Phase 1, Toll gate at exactly 10am.

"This has gone long enough and now we MUST take action! I'll leading a protest to #EndSARS on Thursday, October 8th 2020. 
They MUST listen to us, they MUST make/effect REAL and VISIBLE changes! Empty promises won't work this time. 
Let's all come out to peacefully reach out to our "Elected" leaders beyond social media!!! 
Venue/Take off point: Lekki Phase 1, Toll Gate. 10AM," Runtown tweeted. 

Falz also said he had always wanted to take to the streets to protest peacefully but now he's ready to take to the streets for a peaceful protest. 

"Ready to enter streets. Been ready since. 
We have to move in numbers. 
They cannot kill everybody," Falz tweeted.
