Taking to her Twitter page, Dj Abiodun's cousin, Jummie Kaycole, revealed that her cousin was ignored by doctors and nurses at a hospital after sustaining injuries. The health workers refused to treat him due to failure to present a police report.
Police report seems to be more important than saving lives in Nigeria now. According to Jummie, she says Abiodun was on his way to the studio at exactly 7am on Tuesday. The studio is located in Ikorodu. She continued by saying that her cousin was rushed to the hospital by "Good Samaritans" but the healthcare workers refused to treat him.
Late Dj Abiodun died at the age of 27 years over negligence from healthcare workers in Lagos state. Narrating the brief story, Jummie wrote:
"Apparently, my cousin got stabbed on his way to the studio at Ikorodu around 7am yesterday. Good Samaritans took him to the hospital, but as usual Nigeria healthcare workers had their way with him. He died because they wouldn't treat him. Thank You Nigeria.
RIP Abiodun, he was 27 years."
