Well placed Chikankata based sources have told Byta FM that the deceased identified as Emmanuel Shabeenzu (40) was a resident of Shampande area.
According to the sources, the deceased allegedly threw himself in Chikankata dam after a dispute with the wife over a girlfriend.
The deceased (in picture) is allegedly to have spent a night out but when he went to his home Wednesday morning, the wife asked Shabeenzu to take her where he slept.
However, according to the sources, as the couple reached the bridge for Chikankata dam on their way to the deceased's girlfriend, Shabeenzu allegedly threw himself in the water body.
Shabeenzu is said to have been bleeding through the nose while his face and neck were slightly swollen after his body was retrieved from the dam.
