Jamaica Police Force wrote: "The Constabulary’s Corporate Communications Unit is deeply saddened by the passing of veteran broadcaster Francois St. Juste. Our many partnerships have strengthened communication in the Constabulary.

The president of Jamaica, Andrew Holness, has taken to social media to pen tributes to the late broadcaster.

Jamaican Prime Minister, Andrew Holness wrote: "Many Jamaicans, including myself, were deeply saddened this morning following news of the passing of the much loved and admired radio and media personality, Francois St. Juste.

"Francois brightened every space he occupied and was very easy to love. He was always professional & had a passion for what he did which made it much more than a job for him. His unmistakable voice & morning energy on “Sunny Side Up," a show he cohosted lifted many spirits.

"I express heartfelt condolences to his family & loved ones as they grieve."

Up to his death, he worked at Radio Jamaica as co-host with Paula-Ann Porter-Jones on the morning programme 'Sunny Sunny Side Up'.

Jamaicans are already getting worried for Paula Ann as she is known to be co-host with Francois St Juste.

Francois St Juste and Paula-Ann Porter-Jones became the new morning duo on Radio Jamaica on April 10, 2017 with the show, 'Sunny Side Up'. Porter-Jones was on duty Monday morning as news of St Juste's death was shared. "He's going to be sorely missed," she said, amid tears.

St Juste died at the University Hospital of the West Indies on Monday morning following a brief illness.
