Amanah has sacked its Kedah chief Phahrolrazi Mohd Zawawi from his position and terminated his membership, effective immediately. 

The party says Phahrolrazi had violated Amanah's constitution, disobeyed decisions and took actions that are against the party's interest.

Earlier, the Vibes reported that Phahrolrazi instructed all state party leaders and members not to attend a programme in Kedah last night. 

This was allegedly done in protest against giving up the Jerai parliamentary seat to DAP.
