Baby Monster, a new girl group from YG Entertainment, has received a lot of attention from Korean netizens.
As soon as YG Ent released a teaser to introduce the girl group, the profiles of the members were immediately searched for by netizens.
Like BLACKPINK , this girl group also has a member from Thailand , namely Pharita Chaikong who was born in 2005.
Pharita herself is a child model, having won the Inter Model Thailand contest. In 2021, Pharita became one of the contestants on the survival show Idol Paradise Thailand.
Even though YG Ent has not introduced Pharika's position as well as other members, netizens hope that Pharika can become the successor to Lisa BLACKPINK.
On February 29, she was introduced as a contestant (GI3218) of the Thai survival show Idol Paradise. She left the show somewhere that same year, before it officially started airing.
On December 30, 2022, YG Entertainment unveiled a teaser poster announcing their plans to debut a new girl group. On January 1, 2023, the group's name was confirmed to be BABYMONSTER. In the same video, Pharita could be seen practicing, seemingly confirming her status as a member of the group.
On January 30, Pharita was introduced through a live performance as the sixth member of BABYMONSTER.
