A video clip of Sony signed Amapiano artist Coolkiid (25) has emerged where he is confirming to have had sex with a 13-year-old girl without using protection.
Coolkiid whose real name is Avuyile Nkompono is currently out on bail after he was arrested on December 28, and had to spend the New Year’s Eve behind bars. The 13-year-old girl’s uncle told mainstream media that Coolkiid was staying with his family in Stilfontein in Klerksdorp, North West when the incident happened.
The uncle was managing Coolkiid at the time. Coolkiid has since left the uncle as his manager and recently signed a deal with Sony Music South Africa shortly after he was arrested and charged with rape.
