David and Chioma were both students at Babcock University, where David was studying music and Chioma was studying Economics. The couple started dating in 2015.

“I work too hard, Tayo. Everybody is sleeping, but I’m up recording, I’m up mixing. We are up editing videos, calling Dammy like, ‘Yo, I want it this way!'” Davido expresses the immense amount of effort that goes into creating his music and visuals.

“Brother, God has blessed us so much that let’s not waste this next run. I will never forget. This next five, six years, I need to own this [expletive].
